Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Get your green on and get ready to celebrate
St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday March 17!

At the Nesconset Branch, the festivities began early. On March 10, children in grades 3-5 made treats fit for leprechauns in the program Fabulous Fortunes, dunking green fortune cookies, pretzels and marshmallows in rainbow colored candies and clover sprinkles. It was a delicious and fun afternoon!

Matt participated in Fabulous Fortunes and decorated and sampled snacks and the library, but made extra to bring home and share. His favorite combonation was dunking a marshmallow in chocolate, and decorating his creation with rainbow nerds and Fruity Pebbles!
