Neil Numberman Visits the Nesconset Branch!

Oh my MONSTERS! Second through fifth graders creeped into the Nesconset Branch on Friday, January 27 for a monster drawing workshop with author and illustrator Neil Numberman! Numberman is the author of Do Not Build a Frankenstein and the illustrator of Joey Fly Private Eye in Creepy Crawly Crime and Joey Fly Private Eye in Big Hairy Drama. Nesconset students had a blast creating, naming and sharing their monsters, check out our flickr page to sneak a peak at our projects!

Bringing Baby Home



It's time to leave the hospital and head home with your new bundle of joy...now what!? Taking care of a new baby can be overwhelming, especially if you are a first-time parent. The thought of being responsible for a little one while surviving on hardly any sleep can be daunting. Then one day you may wake up and feel like you "kind of" know what you are doing!... Maybe!
