Carry Out a Good Book!

Delicious reads!



 Readers in grades K-5 are invited to participate in “Carry Out a Good Book”, the 2011 Winter Reading Program. Stop by any branch of the Smithtown Library and begin a reading chart, write your name on our giant pizza and pick up a pizza slice bookmark. As you read a book, stop by the library and update your chart. Each time you add a title to your chart you earn a sticker. The goal is to read five books by Saturday, February 26.

     Remember, newspapers, magazines, audiobooks and reading to family members, friends, siblings, pets and house plants all count! Books you may be reading for Accelerated Reader and PARP also count to your goal in the Winter Reading Program. Those who complete the program will win a prize pack and the chance to win a free pizza!
